The Billionaire Bargain 2

The Billionaire Bargain 2 - Lila Monroe The Billionaire Bargain 2 begins were the first one left off, and what a cliff-hanger it was from the first one. I liked the second first more than the first one. There was more character development and we got to see into Grant's past in a couple of scenes. It's nice to know where the characters come from, so we know where they are going.

Lots of action and drama between Lacey and Grant. Some of their moments were really sweet and I believed that Grant may just be falling for Lacey. But hey who knows.

Oh and another cliffhanger, so be prepared.

My Wicked Stepsister

My Wicked Stepsister - T.S. Irons, V. Clem I don't really know what happened with this story. After reading T.S. Irons previous stories which I really liked, this one left like a let down. After finishing this book I was left unsatisfied.

The story felt rushed, the character depth was lacking for me; I was left wanting more. After a small build up at the start, the story just seemed like the characters were having sex and then there was another time lapse, and then back to sex again.

Only for You: One Night of Passion

Only for You: One Night of Passion - Beth Kery I liked this book and didn't realize it was part of a series til I was half way though. But you don't need to read the others in the series to understand what is happening. I was only wondering because some of the other characters were close to the main characters and had met previously, hinting that this may be a book series.

Nevertheless Only For You is a very enjoyable read and some parts are very steamy. When the Gia and Seth finally put aside their difference and get together is was page melting hot. However besides all this, I felt that there wasn't much else happening in the story. I know there was more to the story, it was mentioned but not as much as I would have liked. I wanted to read more about what was also happening around the couple while they were hiding out.

The story did finish on a happy note as that is always a positive.

The Unyielding Bachelor (Captured by Love Book 2)

The Unyielding Bachelor (Captured by Love Book 2) - Miranda P. Charles I have been waiting the read the next one in this series for what seems like a long time, even thou it probably isn't. And I wasn't disappointed. It had everything that I liked about the first book, but with new characters to fall in love with.

This story is about the struggles between Rick and Lexie and how everything seems to be standing in there way of finding their happy ever after. Nothing seems to go their way and just when things were starting to look up, trouble was just around the corner.

I really liked their story and was glad to read about all their friends from the first book too. It's always nice when you get to see more from the other characters; it's the authors way of letting you know that they haven't forgotten about them either.

Can't wait for the next one now.

A Vixen in Venice

A Vixen in Venice - Kate Deveaux I really liked the characters and the plot of a Vixen in Venice. However I felt a bit let down by the story. I felt it could have been executed a little better. I was excepting to hear more about the hotel, the surrounding area and Venice in general. But I got little of this.

Once and characters were introduced all the story seemed to focus on was the next sexual conquest that they were going to adventure into. There seemed to be little story between those events, until the end of the book. The story was finally coming together for me and then it was the end. I was left wanted more story and less sex. It just over powered everything for me.

Vintage Volume Two

Vintage Volume Two - Lisa Suzanne What an ending! This story couldn't have ended any other way; it was just perfect.

Vintage 2 begins from the end of Vintage 1; right into the action. Nothing has been left out my the author with the reader left guessing what happens between the two books. I like that.

Roxy and Parker could be anymore perfect for each other. After everything that they go through to get to where they are and then to go through more before they say 'I do'. They have a really strong bond and this is shown in everything that they are put through by the mystery threat that is hanging around their lives.

Oh and the secrets that are revealed. I didn't see some of them coming but did made the story so much better because of it. There were even a few sections were I started to tear up. The author really made me feel with this book.

Team James Forever!

Sibling Rivalry

Sibling Rivalry - T.S. Irons Another short and steamy read by TS Irons. And what a steamy read it was. Plenty of sex and the more taboo and extreme the better it seems to be. Cassie, is the trophy wife to oil tycoon with two sons, who just happen to be the same age as her. This makes for some very tenses relationships between the characters. However things start to change when the husband goes away for a business trip.

What I wasn't expecting was all the plot twists that were thrown in by the author. There were quite a few for such a short story, but it just made it all the more interesting.

Will be back to read more from this author for sure.

Behind Your Back

Behind Your Back - Chelsea M. Cameron This book was going good, and then something happened. I don't know what but it's just not working for me anymore.

Will be back one day to finish it thou, just not today

Closed Set

Closed Set - Julia Harlow Closed Set was a little different then what I was expecting. I was thinking more along the lines of a sweet romance; dance teacher meets and falls in love with up and coming big time actor. However what I got was something a little different.

When I started the story it was ended in the direction of a sweet romance. Then things slowly start to heat up pretty quickly. Cassandra, our virgin dance teacher, seemed to really rush to the sex with Chris. She came across in some of the scenes as more experienced then she should have been.

Chris seemed nice enough, and then does wrong by Cassie not once, twice but three times. He clearly had some issues. Why she should stay with him is beyond me. But they did get a sort of happy ever after so that was nice.

Come Yell Or High Water

Come Yell Or High Water - Elise Alden This was a sweet and at sometimes steamy read. I really enjoyed the interactions between the main characters. They started off hating each other and couldn't stand to be in each others company. Yet as time went by things slowly started to change as they discovered the real truth about each other. The things that come to light are a little shocking and were hard to over come for Max and Cara, but I believe that they are moving in the right direction.

AN enjoyable read about discovering the truth and learning to trust and love again.

Consequences

Consequences - Aleatha Romig This book just isn't doing anything for me at the moment. I'm just flowing through it but not really enjoying it. I need more depth and description and I'm not getting either. I'm moving on

With Visions of Red: Broken Bonds, Book One

With Visions of Red: Broken Bonds, Book One - Trisha Wolfe With visions of red flowed perfectly, just liked the blood from the victims in the story. There is a strong crime element in this story and while it may seem a bit more of a crime thriller at the start of the story, things do start coming to light the more you read into the story.

This story starts in the past with the main character locked in a dark room with her thoughts and for the unknown male to return. This story is dark and does deal with some strong themes. I believe there may be more to Sadie than the author is really letting on. She has moments in the story, but nothing is really revealed about them. I'm left wanting more.

I loved how the author put in the UNSUBs' POV. This was very clever and have more insight into the mind of the person that they are trying to find. Their thoughts were so dark and yet strangely poetic.

I would have liked to have heard more of the story from Coltons' POV. Maybe in the next book we will learn more about him. Something about him is just a little off for me.

Despite all this the author has a magical way with words and I just couldn't put the book down. I was captivated and I want more. Right Now.

Step-Dom

Step-Dom - T.S. Irons, V. Clem This was one quick and very hot read. There may not have been much of a story line but I still enjoyed the story. Step daddy decides to teach his step daughter a lesson while the wife is away for the weekend. The work scene was very interesting. Maybe something straight out of a porno?

I did like the ending thou. That was different to most of the other taboo stories that I have read. I like different; different is good when a story is so short.

Vintage (Volume One)

Vintage (Volume One) - Lisa Suzanne Overall I really enjoyed Vintage. It something a little bit different to the usual rock star meets girl and they fall in love romance.

The prologue was very well done and what draw me in to read more. How could someone leave a note like that; it explains so much without really giving anything away either. I wanted to know more about the character who leaves mystery notes like this.

How Roxy and Parker meet is something else all together. I really liked that scene in the music store. It takes a strong woman to speak her mind to a musician. But then again Roxy has been surrounded by musician all her life growing up the daughter to a music god.

The first half of the book was more about the developing relationship between Roxy and Parker, and while all is good I couldn't wait for the suspense to start. Then it was there and I couldn't put the book down. Lie were told, secrets were revealed and yet the danger is still there. I needed more. Maybe the next book will have more answers.

Oh and the ending... can't wait for the next part now.

Daddy Knows Best

Daddy Knows Best - Vincent Drake, Jade West This is one hot and very sexy read. And did a mention taboo? Some taboo stories can be a bit boring or read like a porno script, but this was nothing like that. I loved every second of it. I couldn't read it fast enough.

This story is like mega hot and has some very hot and naughty sex scenes. All the more reason to read it and find out what everyone else is talking about.

I can't really say to much without giving the story away, but step daughter loves step daddy and he find outs her secret and things happen. Lots of things happen.

Daddy knows best is not for everyone and I get that. But sometimes reading something different can really open are eyes to what else is out there.

I can't wait to read more from this author and will be waiting for future releases from now on.

Fall for Me (Ladder Company Book 1)

Fall for Me (Ladder Company Book 1) - JC Emery I was really excited when I read the blurb for this new series. I haven't read anything by this author before and was prepared to try something new. Who doesn't love the idea of a firefighter falling in love and finding the one?

Fall for me started out really strong and I was really engrossed in the storyline. However about half way through it started to fall away for me. I was expecting more romance between the main characters and more drama for a firefighter romance. And because I was left wanting something more, I feel left hanging by this story. I'm happy that they got their happy every after, well I think they did. The ending came to quickly and now I want to see more from Jameson and Mel.
